Voice from Melbourne: Indonesia without Corruption!
Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - Indonesian students and community in Melbourne, Australia, staged a rally of support to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at Federation Square on Sunday.

Rally coordinator Aminudin M Ramdhan in his e-mail to ANTARA here on Sunday said the Indonesian students and community who called themselves "Indomelb" took part in the support rally.

He said they started their rally by singing Indonesia Raya anthem which was then followed with orations and poetry reading by some students of Indonesia in Melbourne.

The also put their signatures on a banner that reads "Voice from Melbourne: Indonesia without Corruption!", which would be submitted to Indonesian representative office in Melbourne.

In the orations they highlighted the alleged fraudulent practices in Qoran printing project by the Religious Affairs Ministry, involving some politicians and ministry`s officials.

"We demand that the KPK take the strongest possible action against those who are responsible in the corruption case in Indonesia," Aminudin said.

The Indonesian students and community in Melbourne also called on all public elements in Indonesia to actively participate in efforts to create a corruption-free Indonesia.

"We also call on all law enforcing institutions to fully support corruption eradication effort indiscriminately," Aminudin said.
