"We hope to get two gold medals from senior athletes."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian team has set itself a target of winning at least four gold medals at the Asian Karatedo Federation (AKF) Championship, which will be held in Uzbekistan from July 14-17.

"We hope to get two gold medals from senior athletes and two more from the juniors," AKF Chairman Hendardji Soepandji said here on Monday.

Meanwhile, a member of the Indonesian Karate team, Faisal Zainuddin, expressed optimism that his team would be able to achieve the target of four gold medals in the upcoming championship.

Indonesia will send 17 junior athletes and 13 seniors to the AKF tournament this year.
