Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesias anti-terrorist squad Densus 88 has arrested yet another terrorist suspect believed to be a member of the Santoso cell in Poso, Central Sulawesi, on Monday.

"Today at 10 a.m. East Indonesia Time, a terrorist suspect known as Ato Margono was arrested. He was caught at the Sentral Market in Poso, Central Sulawesi," stated head of public information bureau of the National Police public relations division, Brigadier General Boy Rafli Amar.

Ato Margono is one of the Santoso group members who has so far been in the polices wanted list, he noted.

He added that Ato has allegedly been involved in a number of terrorism activities including helping a suicide bomber to go to the Poso Resort Police in June.

"He was also the one who had shot dead, a villager of Situ Silanca," he added.

Boy further stated that Ato was also the perpetrator of a garage bombing incident and had been involved in fund raising operations (fai) to finance terrorist activities.

"He has also worked as logistics courier (for Santoso group) and been connected with terrorism training activities in Poso, Central Sulawesi," he explained.

Densus 88 has earlier arrested two other suspects belonging to the Santoso group namely Adnan alias Nan (on December 18) and Rudianto alias Faisla alias Mahmud alias Jundi (on Dec. 22).

The duo was caught in Poso, Central Sulawesi, Boy stated.

"Right now the police are still investigating several other suspects. The three that have been arrested so far are still in Central Sulawesi for investigation," he noted.

Boy added that in 2013 the police have arrested 12 members of the Santoso group, while the whereabouts of Santoso himself is still unknown.
